If you want a balance between performance and efficiency use the Balanced mode that the card ships in. If you want every ounce of performance the 6800 XT MERC 319 can give you, use the Rage BIOS. The Rage BIOS increases power delivery to the GPU increasing the max obtainable boost clocks.
Extreme Stability and Overclocking
14+2 Phase Power Design A 10+1 phase power design implements a larger V-Core than the AMD reference spec so it's able to provide you with more stable gameplay by better distributing power across more VRMs which results in more headroom. This allows the GPU to operate cooler at baseline but also have tremendous room to overclock.
Double Ball Bearing Fans
XFX GPUs utilize double ball bearing structure fans that provide better endurance and efficiency by reducing friction heat which also makes it operate quieter and doubles the lifespan of your GPU fans.
XFX Zero DB Auto Load Sensing Fans
XFX Fans are equipped to run at the highest possible performance, while our Zero DB fan system will also keep your fans running at efficient RPM in order to minimize annoying fan noise by lowering RPM all the way down to Zero RPM. When the heat is on during intense gaming, our fans will speed up as needed.

For optimal performance, the XFX MERC 319 is intended for computer cases sufficient space and airflow. Micro, Mini, and some Mid tower computer cases may not be sufficient for the MERC 319.
